Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade Huamao Exhibition visits MIEE to discuss cooperation on exporting automotive emergency equipment overseas

On the morning of June 26, Liu Bin, deputy general manager of Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade Huamao International Exhibition, and project leaders Hu Xiaoping and Shi Yufeng visited MIEE Shanghai headquarters. Liu Peng, general manager of MIEE Automobile, Du Chenjia, assistant general manager, and Fang Yan, director of operations of Liangao Exhibition, participated in the reception and negotiation. The two sides discussed topics such as the automobile industry and the overseas expansion of emergency equipment and reached a cooperation intention.

At the negotiation meeting, representatives of Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade Huamao Exhibition introduced the details of the "China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (Indonesia) Green and Innovation Cooperation Exhibition" and the 2025 Indonesia International Emergency Disaster Reduction and Rescue Expo (2025 EDRR Indonesia, referred to as the Indonesia International Emergency Exhibition) with detailed data and forward-looking perspectives. As an international event jointly organized by Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Gaomei Aibo Exhibition Group, Shanghai International Exhibition (Group) Co., Ltd. and PT. Amara Tujuh Perjuangan (Seven Event), the exhibition will be grandly opened at the Jakarta International Exhibition Center from August 13 to 15. Its mission is to deepen cooperation among countries along the "Belt and Road" and the Pan-Pacific region, focus on emergency science and technology innovation, and strive to build a new global disaster prevention and reduction collaborative ecology.

Looking back at the grand occasions of previous sessions, the 2023 Indonesia International Emergency Exhibition has demonstrated strong appeal and influence, attracting 180 companies from more than ten countries and regions including the United States, Germany, Australia, China, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, etc. to participate in the exhibition, with an exhibition area of 10,000 square meters. It attracted more than 150 experts and scholars in the field of emergency disaster reduction and rescue, and 8,000 professional visitors from all over the world to visit. It also successfully held 8 concurrent forums and technology roadshows, and 51 national and local media participated in the coverage.

Mr. Liu said that as the vice president unit of Hubei Automobile Industry International Investment and Trade Promotion Association, the chairman unit of Shiyan Used Car Export Alliance, and the Shiyan Automobile Overseas Platform Company, MIEE actively responded to the country's "going out" strategy and organized the "Wuxiang Shisui" automobile industry cluster enterprise exhibition group to Indonesia to participate in the exhibition and docking. Through the innovation of the new model of "double exhibition linkage and coordinated development", the precise docking of industrial resources and exhibition platforms is achieved, and the local characteristic industries are promoted to the international stage, contributing Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions to the development of the global emergency industry. In the future, the two sides are expected to carry out in-depth cooperation in more fields, jointly explore new opportunities in the international market, deeply integrate the advantages of both sides, and build an all-round and multi-level cooperation system. This cooperation not only provides strong support for MIEE to expand the international market, but also relies on the rich overseas resource network of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade to promote the deep integration of Shiyan's characteristic industrial clusters with the global industrial chain, realize high-level and sustainable "going out to sea and sailing", and help enterprises achieve high-level and sustainable development on the international stage.
