On November 10, 2025, Ms. Chantelle Abdul, Non-Executive Director of Nigeria's MOFI and Managing Director of MOJEC Group, led a delegation on a return visit to Shiyan, Hubei Province. Following inspections of Shiyan's vehicle manufacturing industry, supply chain system, and the Hubei base of MIEE Automotive, the delegation held meetings with relevant parties.

The signing ceremony was attended by senior executives including Wang Junfeng, Chairman of Shiyan Economic Development and Construction Investment, Shi Feng, its General Manager, Zheng Hao, General Manager of HAOCHI Automotive, Zhang Handong, Chairman of Shiyan Lin'an, and Liu Peng, General Manager of MIEE Automotive. The parties reached consensus and jointly signed the cooperation framework agreement. This signing marks a significant and substantial step forward in bringing Chinese new energy vehicles to Nigeria.

Building upon the cooperation framework agreement, the partners will leverage the broad development prospects of Nigeria's automotive market and integrate resources from Hubei's core OEMs, including Dongfeng Motor. The collaboration will focus on key areas such as ride-hailing operations, EV charging infrastructure development, and localized vehicle assembly (SKD). These efforts will accelerate project implementation and foster comprehensive and in-depth collaboration, aiming to establish a new energy vehicle industrial ecosystem covering the West African market. This initiative will elevate China-Nigeria automotive industry cooperation to higher levels and broader domains.
